ATP architects engineers have placed a mildly curved volume resembling a boomerang into a hilly landscape. A wavy roof structure of 6 ha floats above the 500-meter-long shopping centre, on the columns that look like tree trunks, and gives a specific identity to this shopping centre holding the breeam certificate.

Three times three

The competition was severe and the location was very convenient; the G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf is situated next to the extension of the Viennese Brünnerstraße, where a specialised store for building material and garden supplies was already built. With the first-class shopping centre of the new generation on the south and another specialised shopping centre, the three buildings make the G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf, designed by atp architects engineers. The complex is easily accessed by bike, postal bus or a free shuttle bus. These three buildings define the space, says Dario Travaš, head designer at atp in Vienna and manager of the atp branch in Zagreb. They make a good combination, but with our architecture we wanted to create something of outstanding value by making a grand gesture.
